Phone: 781-736-3237
Fax: 781-736-3579

Bakhtawer Abbasi is a graduate student at Heller pursuing her Master’s in Conflict Resolution & Coexistence. Having lived her childhood in Dallas, Texas and youth years in Karachi, Pakistan, she likes to think of herself as an amalgamation of the East & West. Prior to moving to Massachusetts for her studies at Brandeis, she worked as a Trainer at ‘Beyond the Classroom Education’, a social initiative aiming to induce in children the values of Tolerance, Empathy, Inclusion and Independent Critical Thinking through experiential learning, striving to create harmony within societies. After her undergraduate studies in Business Administration and her initial years of work experience in Marketing, she realized that creating impact in social issues and finding their solutions was a passion so profound that she had to switch fields to fulfill her true calling. She is excited to link her learning experiences as a trainer in community development and of life to outreach with the local community in Waltham. Given how much she finds herself indulged in painting, poetry, and music in her free time, she'd vouch she'd be an Artist in another life!
