Leslie Pearlstein is president of the Brandeis National Committee, an organization that provides financial support for Brandeis and its Libraries. The National Committee is the largest friends-of-a-library group in the world with 30,000 members nationwide.

Pearlstein has held many positions during the course of her career. From 1984 ot 2006, she was the accounting and office manager at RNR Plastics, Inc. From 1966 to 1972, she was the administrative assistant to vice president, Mutual Funds, at Scudder, Stevens & Clark. 

Pearlstein is currently the secretary of the Board of Governors of Spring Valley Country Club, a position she has held since 2006. She was also the recording secretary, financial secretary and president of Temple Beth Abraham from 1994 to 1996. 

She earned her B.A. from New York University in 1966.
