Committee on Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid
The Committee on Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid provides advice to the provost and to the dean of admissions and financial aid with respect to the recruitment, admission and matriculation of undergraduate students, including undergraduate financial aid policies and practices.
It reports in to the Committee on Strategy and Planning on a regular basis.
The committee is composed of four to six members of the faculty appointed by the provost in consultation with the dean of admissions and financial aid and the dean of student life; the directors of admissions and of financial aid; and the vice president for budget and planning. It is chaired by a member of the faculty, appointed by the provost on the recommendation of the dean of arts and sciences. The faculty appointed by the provost must regularly teach undergraduate students. Appointment terms for faculty members will be defined by the provost.
