Financial Support
All Biochemistry and Biophysics PhD students are guaranteed funding, including a stipend of $38,496 (beginning on July 1, 2023), full tuition, and health insurance while they are completing their studies and maintaining satisfactory progress towards their degree.
Leave of Absence
Sometimes it is necessary for a graduate student to request a health leave of absence, personal leave of absence, pregnancy accommodation, or parental relief. The procedures for requesting a leave can be found on the GSAS website.
