BNC History
The vision for Brandeis was realized in the aftermath of World War II when members of the American Jewish community came together to create a place of academic excellence for all who valued learning. At a time when institutions were barring top students due to quotas, Brandeis accepted students based on intellect above all other factors. Since 1948, Brandeis University has exceeded expectations and developed into a world renowned research university.
