Julie Jette
Interim Senior Vice President of Communications
Julie, who joined the university in 2016, is dedicated to finding new ways to tell the Brandeis story to the world. As Interim SVP, she has the privilege of leading a creative team of writers, photographers, designers and editors, and video and social media producers who illuminate the excellence of Brandeis’ faculty and the creativity, energy, and dedication of its students and alumni. She advises university leaders on strategic communications, and oversees internal communications and media relations.
Julie spent 15 years as a newspaper reporter in New England and Europe, covering business, health care and local and state government. Prior to joining Brandeis, she spent several years in communications at a Boston academic medical center.
