ENACT Research and Advocacy Fellowship

The ENACT Research and Advocacy Fellowship affords students the opportunity to engage in original research with the ultimate goal of creating evidence-based policy. An ENACT faculty/staff member mentors students throughout a yearlong hands-on change project. Fellows work together as part of a peer cohort model, allowing them an opportunity to build community with one another while working for change. Students receive a stipend of $2000 for the Fellowship.

During the 2025-2026 academic year Fellows will:

  1. Learn the fundamentals of research methods, including how to conduct and analyze a survey, code qualitative data, etc.
  2. Host and attend advocacy events related to their area of research
  3. Enact data-driven change in the Brandeis community and beyond
  4. Explore state level policies and learn advocacy tools for promoting policy change
