Software Engineering with Artificial Intelligence

Provides an overview of Artificial Intelligence (AI) achievements that are driving business innovations and revamping business processes to provide a personalized customer experience and increase workforce efficiency. Explores fundamental AI topics, including intelligent agents, problem solving using search, logical agents, knowledge representation, reasoning using logic, automated planning, probabilistic reasoning, decision making for simple and complex decisions, multiagent decision making, and AI ethics and safety. Case studies will look at the use of Artificial Intelligence in a variety of applications in areas such as customer service, sales/marketing, finance, healthcare, and life sciences. Students will practice working with Artificial Intelligence frameworks and will develop and deploy AI agents based on agentic frameworks.
