A Brandeis Holiday Tradition

Dec. 3, 2018

Dear members of the Brandeis community,

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to participate in a Brandeis holiday tradition. On Wednesday, December 12 at 4:00 p.m., in the Shapiro Campus Center atrium, all interested members of the Brandeis community are invited to our annual sing of highlights from Handel’s masterwork “Messiah.” Your families are invited to attend as well.

The hour-long concert will be led by the Brandeis-Wellesley Orchestra (Neal Hampton, conductor), with guest soloists. For your singing pleasure, music scores will be provided. Please arrive a few minutes early to get your copy!

After the concert, our Chaplains invite guests from all backgrounds to join in decorating sugar cookies and ornaments for the Christmas tree in the SCC. Enjoy some eggnog and apple cider while we sing Christmas carols together.

For those interested there will also be a table at the concert for you to drop off a donation of school supplies or educational games suitable for children in grades K-8. Donations will be collected by the Department of Community Service and distributed to the Prospect Hill Community Center in Waltham.

Best wishes,

Lisa M. Lynch
