Introducing the Brandeis Campus Passport Portal

Sept. 2, 2020

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

We are incredibly grateful to each of you for helping Brandeis achieve a safe and promising start to the fall 2020 semester. Thank you for reinforcing our community’s commitment to personal and shared health safety when visiting campus, by continuing to wear masks, hand-washing and physically distancing.

Many of us within the community are familiar with the tools required for visiting or coming on to campus: 1) COVID training; 2) Daily Health Assessment; and 3) COVID testing. To help simplify accessing these requirements, we are pleased to announce that these three previously separate tools are now accessible through a single location: the Brandeis Campus Passport Portal.

Please visit the Campus Passport Portal each time before you come to campus.

In addition to centralizing the campus visitation tools, the portal provides a personalized, color-coded status indicating your eligibility for visiting campus:

  • Green, if you have successfully completed all of the requirements for visiting campus (i.e., COVID training, DHA and COVID testing).

  • Yellow, if you are due for your next COVID test and have one scheduled, but have not yet taken it (but have taken the COVID training and passed the DHA).

  • Red, if you are missing any of the required steps to come to campus or if you do not pass your DHA. The portal will assist you by providing further information on which requirements you must complete to obtain a Green or Yellow status.

There are also personalized options to accommodate your preferences (i.e., Spanish language, Shabbat Alternative, etc.) under the “Settings” menu, as well as an option to view your Campus COVID compliance history.

As the Campus Passport Portal is a new tool, we ask that you please familiarize yourself with it and see how the portal is working for you. If you believe you have an incorrect passport status, or have other related passport issues, please let us know by utilizing the reporting link within the portal.

We hope the Campus Passport Portal will reinforce our commitment to social solidarity around our health and safety, and that it will further instill confidence within our community that everyone you encounter on the Brandeis campus is abiding by and upholding the same high safety standards that we expect of ourselves and one another.

Sincerely,

Lisa M. Lynch, Provost
