Nera Lerner

Nera graduated with BA in Economics and Art History, and a minor in Russian Studies. She is currently the gallery manger of Danziger Gallery in New York where she continues to learn more about the intersection of her academic interests. Nera is thankful for the memory, support, and opportunity provided to her through the BGI experience. She looks forward to her future involvement with the program.

Monica Pevzner

MonicaOnce graduating from the Hornstein Program, Monica Pevzner staffed a Birthright trip in Israel for ten days. Upon her return to the states, she moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area. She is currently employed at the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco as the Project Director of the South Peninsula Jewish Teen Foundation.

Julia Smirnova

JuliaJulia graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management and a Master of Arts (MA) in Jewish Professional Leadership from Brandeis University. After her graduation she continued her involvement with Havurah, a unique summer camp for Russian-speaking teenagers, and now serves as the Havurah Program Manager at Camp Tel Yehudah.
