The Schusterman Center for Israel Studies is part of the vibrant academic community at Brandeis. The Center collaborates with and complements a range of centers and institutes, academic departments, schools, and programs at Brandeis.

The Schusterman Center has created a Research Guide to Israel Studies for scholars, educators, students, and anyone wanting to learn more about Israel. With expert-recommended resources and tips for effective research, this is a one-stop shop for Israel Studies queries, needs, and information. Visit our Research Guide to Israel Studies to get started.

We are now making available recordings of select Schusterman Center events, including lectures, panel discussions and seminars on a variety of topics in Israel Studies. Subscribe to our YouTube channel and start exploring.

Our Israel Studies Syllabus Bank is a repository of Israel Studies syllabi developed by Summer Institute for Israel Studies fellows and presenters, as well Schusterman Center faculty members. We hope it helps educators, professors, and scholars seeking useful bibliographies, models for syllabus design, or pedagogical inspiration.

The Schusterman Center supports the acquisition of fiction and non-fiction books from Israel, both in Hebrew and in translation to English.
