Did You Know?

Students who successfully complete our programs are awarded their master's degrees from Brandeis University — not Brandeis GPS or Brandeis Online.

Overview

GPS offered its first distance learning (DL) courses in 2001. We have developed proven standards for online course design and delivery that include:

Asynchronous Delivery

Participate on days and times when it is convenient for you.

Small Class Sizes

Our DL courses have no more than 20 students.

Top-Notch Instructors

Our instructors are working professionals, experts in their fields who develop their own course content to keep up with emerging industry trends. They are actively engaged in class discussions and provide regular feedback to students.

Rich Discussions and Extensive Participation

We maintain strong standards for student and instructor participation. Students explore course concepts collaboratively, posting original responses and replies to others throughout the course week.

Standard Course Week

Our Wednesday through Tuesday course week provides a framework and familiar pace through which course modules are explored and discussed.

Robust Platform

Our courses are delivered via LATTE, our customization of Moodle, the popular open-source learning management system.

Consistent Course Structure

Our course site standards allow you to quickly become familiar with course navigation when moving from course to course.
