Profile

Since joining Brandeis in 2015, Jon has been a catalyst for success at the Hiatt Career Center, leading the center to win two national awards for implementing an innovative career development framework.

Jon holds an MEd. in Counseling from DePaul University, specializing in community mental health and college student development. He is a Certified Career Counselor (CCC), MBTI facilitator, and StrengthsQuest educator.

In addition to his leadership role overseeing the Hiatt Career Center, Jon actively engages with all students, assisting them in discovering and exploring their major and career interests while making informed decisions. With experience working with students with diverse academic and career interests, he provides a personalized approach to help students navigate the next steps. Jon also teaches INT 89 Internship Seminar.

Jon's impact extends beyond campus, with his work published in peer-reviewed and national association journals, earning him the 2019 NCDA Career Developments Article of the Year Award.
