WE ARE HIRING: Tenure-line Faculty Position in U.S. History

The Brandeis University History Department invites applications for a historian of the United States, rank open.  While the specific field of expertise is open, we are especially interested in historians who would expand the methodological and chronological range of our department faculty and contribute to graduate and undergraduate advising and teaching.  Areas of special interest include (but are not limited to): the U.S. and the World; the history of capitalism, broadly defined; gender and sexuality; and race and ethnicity.  Applicants must have a PhD in hand when the appointment begins in the Fall of 2019.

Candidates should submit a letter of application, a c.v., a writing sample of no more than forty pages, and three letters of recommendation.
