Justice Brandeis Practitioner-in-Residence Nomination Form
The Justice Brandeis Practitioner-in-Residence Limited Series
Academic Year 2024-25 to Academic Year 2027-28
Hosted by COMPACT and ENACT in celebration of the International Center for Ethics, Justice and Public Life
During each of these four years, COMPACT and ENACT will host a high-profile practitioner on campus for a one-day residency. The practitioner and his/her work will exemplify Justice Brandeis’ values of justice and truth as applied to community engagement activities, global or local. Visiting practitioners will interact with students, faculty and staff through diverse types of encounters – class visits, workshops, lectures, etc. Each residency also will produce an output which can be shared afterwards, for example a written document, short documentary film of the visit, a podcast, or an exhibit.
The aim of the residency series is to both highlight the knowledge and experience developed by the Ethics Center over its lifetime and to expose the campus to spheres of activity that have only become more critical to our interconnected world over recent years.
To be considered for the Justice Brandeis residency, candidates must be formally nominated. Self-nominations are not accepted. Nominations must be submitted by using this online nomination form.
The residency is accompanied by an honorarium of $10,000.
Deadline for nominations for the 2025 residency: April 1, 2025
