QB/CMCB Workshop
Note: The QB/CMCB Workshop was formerly known as the QB Bootcamp.
The 2024 QB/CMCB Workshop will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024. (details).
For one day during Brandeis’ spring semester, all QB students and faculty (together with other interested members of the community) come together on campus for all-day sessions of mini-courses, research talks, informal interactions and panel discussions on the practical aspects of being an interdisciplinary scientist.
The research talks are given by faculty, both from Brandeis and from outside the university. An advanced graduate student or postdoc, the recipient of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Interfaces Scholar Award, delivers a lecture on a particular topic that involves application of quantitative physical sciences methods to biomedical problems.
The QB/CMCB Workshop is open to all Brandeis science faculty and graduate students. Even students not officially enrolled in QB are invited, provided that space is available. To get additional information, please contact Laura St. Clair, department coordinator.
