TA Award for Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring
Each year, faculty and students are invited to nominate their Teaching Fellows (TFs), Teaching Assistants (TAs), Instructional Assistants (IAs), and/or Course Assistants (CAs) for an Outstanding TA Award for Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring. These awards recognize and celebrate the exceptional work our undergraduate and graduate instructors do to support our students.
Every semester, 10 Outstanding TA Awards for Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring will be granted, as follows:

one undergraduate and one graduate TA in Creative Arts;

one undergraduate and one graduate TA in Humanities;

one undergraduate and one graduate TA in Sciences;
- one undergraduate and one graduate TA in Social Sciences;
- one graduate TA in the Heller School for Social Policy and Management; and
-
one graduate TA in the International Business School.
Each year, the 20 Outstanding TA Awards for Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring will be conferred at the Celebration of Teaching Day.
Both faculty and students are eligible to nominate their TAs for the award.
To nominate a TA, please fill out this short nomination form describing the TA’s commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring. All Fall nominations are due by December 2nd and all Spring nominations are due by April 22nd.
Please nominate only one TA per submission on the nomination form. You are welcome to nominate multiple TAs by submitting the form separately for each nominee.
