Teacher Appreciation
Calling all graduating students!
Commencement is a time to reflect on your time at Brandeis—the friendships you've formed, the challenges you've conquered, and the achievements of which you're most proud. We hope it's also a time when you will reflect back on the mentor or mentors who have contributed to your transformation into the person you are today.
This year, the Center for Teaching and Learning is launching a new initiative designed to give you the opportunity to say thank you to those teachers who have helped you along the way. We're inviting all graduating students to record a brief video highlighting how the time you spent with a particular professor or TA left a lasting mark on your Brandeis experience.
- How did that instructor challenge you to see the world in a new way?
- How did they encourage you to believe in yourself, or to take the leap into a new academic subject or career path?
- What's the best piece of advice you received, whether about how to succeed in a course, or how to make an important decision in your life?
It means a lot to your teachers to know that you've felt seen and supported by them. So please grab your phone and take a few minutes to tell them how you feel, and upload your video tribute to the Center for Teaching and Learning's Box folder so that we can share it with the Brandeis community.
