Medical Dietary Accommodations
All on-campus students are required to enroll in a meal plan. Exemptions from this policy are granted only for medically documented cases of dietary need. Our goal is to meet medical dietary needs through appropriate dining services accommodations.
If you have specific dietary concerns that warrant individual attention from Dining Services and or Brandeis medical staff, visit the Student Accessibility Support website and view the Medical Dietary Accommodations information. Follow the instructions there to request accommodations for dietary issues. Forms must be completed by a medical professional in order for the dietary needs team to consider any case.
MyZone Allergen-Free 'Pantry'
MyZone, in Lower Usdan Dining Hall, is a dining services campus “pantry” where food items needed by students with documented medical and disability dietary needs (e.g., celiac disease, nonceliac gluten sensitivity, food allergies, food intolerances, etc.) are stored and prepared with precautions against cross contact. This area is always to be free of tree nuts, peanuts and gluten-containing ingredients and products for the safety of our students. Please visit the SAS website to apply for this accommodation.
