Kim Adler ’17
Economics and Mathematics Major
As a senior who is doing a double major in economics and mathematics Kim has had the opportunity to engage in a research project with Professors Bui and Hall on women in economics. In her work, she has been able to see how the tools and concepts learned in class can be used to study real-world phenomenon and to contribute her own thoughts and ideas about the role of gender in the study of economics.
Besides doing research, Kim also works for the Office of Research Administration and is a Teaching Assistant for Econ 20A. Although she tries not to think too far into the future, Kim hopes to be in a profession that continuously applies and expands her knowledge of economics.
