Resham Sethi

I want to lead the kind of Graduate Student Association in which all students believe and respect. I want all students from diverse backgrounds, whether they were active in student government or have never seen student representation in school, to feel comfortable coming to us and raising your concerns. We serve as a liaison between Brandeis University and its students, and we assure you that we are right here for you.

Qaisar Ahmed

I was brought up and schooled from Balochistan in Pakistan; I’ve been active doing social and volunteer work since the age of nine. As the founder and CEO of several initiatives including Welfare Association for New Generation (WANG)–Balochistan based NGO which struggles for fairer society through its different intervention with young people. I am in M.A SID 1 year fast-track accelerated program at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management.

Cheyenne Paris

I am originally from Norwalk, CT where I got my first taste of conflict resolution through the Peer Mediation program during my middle and high school years. After graduating from the University of North Dakota with a BA in Anthropology, I served as a team leader for AmeriCorps NCC. I then got a job working for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge. I chose Brandeis because of their joint program: Conflict Resolution and Coexistence and Near Eastern and Judaic Studies. I am very interested in bringing mediation workshops and conflict resolution curriculums to schools through the lens of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the Holocaust to promote inclusion, culture understanding, and peacebuilding skills in young people. I also enjoy drinking coffee, being outdoors, running and watching the Office. And doing all those activities with my dog, Lucy!

Ishwarya Parameshwaran

I am an MSF candidate in the Brandeis International Business School. I have always considered leadership and team management skills to be the most vital part of my career aspirations. I have also actively sought and participated in such roles, serving as head/president of various clubs through undergrad and postgrad back home in India. I consider myself to be very friendly, empathetic, pragmatic, and a highly efficient problem solver.
