The Brandeis Counseling Center provides counseling for students with issues ranging from stress and depression to substance abuse and eating disorders. All concerns are addressed with sensitivity to and respect for diversity and individuality.

See the many food resources available to graduate students, including the food pantry in the Graduate Student Center conference room in Kutz Hall.
All full-time and three-quarters time students, regardless of insurance status, must enroll in the qualifying Student Health Plan or waive the plan and report their own comparable health insurance coverage. All international students will be automatically enrolled in the Student Health Plan.

Brandeis provides lactation rooms for nursing mothers in Goldfarb, Gerstenzang and Rabb Graduate Center. Mothers must bring their own breast pumps; all rooms have refrigeration, electrical outlets and microwaves for sterilization. Most have sinks nearby.

The Office of Equal Opportunity is responsible for addressing all issues of discrimination, harassment and sexual misconduct within the Brandeis community.
The Prevention, Advocacy and Resource Center coordinates sexual assault and power-based violence prevention efforts in the campus community. Staff there serve as advocates for student survivors, both graduate and undergraduate, and provide confidential support services to survivors.
