Applying to the Summer Institute for Israel Studies

Applications are due February 1, 2008. Notifications will be made by March 14, 2008.

Application Instructions:

  1. Download application cover sheet here; fill out and include with other application materials.
  2. Include a current CV.
  3. Include a personal statement explaining your background and interest in Israel Studies, your plans for introducing an Israel Studies course at your home institution, and your expectations of your participation in the Institute.
  4. Include two letters of support. One should be from your department chair or a senior administrator stating your home institution’s interest in developing a new course in Israel Studies. These may be sent under separate cover.
  5. Include a sample syllabus of a related course you have taught.
