Hiatt Career Center

Joint Programming

Hiatt can collaborate and support student groups with professional development, networking, or skill-building activities. Consider having a staff representative join one of your existing meetings or inquire about getting in touch with alumni or employers for a particular event you are hosting. Partner with us around developing, hosting and marketing a career-centric event.

  • Contact Sandra Sylvestre or Megan Campbell for cultural clubs and academic support programs or for student clubs, UDRs and CAs
  • Connect with our staff to talk about your event needs (employer/alumni speakers, event planning and support, etc). Schedule a in Handshake and select "Club Support"
  • If you have a date and event already in mind, complete this request form with the details of your event. (We must have at least two weeks' notice prior to the event date).

Career Resource Web Pages

If you are interested in partnering with your department/program administrator and the Hiatt Career Center to create a career resource web page, please contact Andrea Dine. This is a longer-term project, as it requires multiple steps, including the contribution, review and approval of your department/program's faculty. Visit the English Department for an example of a career resource web page.

Employment and Internship Resources

  • Handshake
Hiatt's primary platform for appointment scheduling, jobs and internships, online resources, career fairs and events. Last year over 50,000 job and internship postings were targeted to Brandeis students via this platform. If you fill out your career interests and profile, your feed will adapt to your preferences and priorities. If you allow employers to see your account, they may reach out to you.

  • Beyond Brandeis
This tool maps destination data (what students do after graduation). You can get a quick overview, or conduct a deep drive regarding what majors enter particular industries, and more.
