We will not be accepting any external event bookings for the fall semester.
All events must be monitored for both student-sponsored and department-sponsored events.
A designated paid Event Liaison is coordinated through Student Activities for student events. They must be present at and throughout the duration of each confirmed student event to ensure maximum attendance thresholds and 6’ physical distancing requirements are upheld.
Department organized events rely on the event requester, or designated staff or faculty member, to be present during the event as the Event Liaison. The Event Liaison must be present at and throughout the duration of each confirmed event to ensure maximum attendance thresholds and 6’ physical distancing requirements are upheld.
Reservations coordinated through the Conference and Events and Student Activities offices for indoor events have specific capacity thresholds and follow current Mass.Gov state guidelines. Outdoor events allow for a maximum of 30 people, provided spaces accommodate 6’ physical distancing. These numbers include the event liaison.
Masks are required at all indoor and outdoor events. Masks may be removed for eating.
No singing or wind instruments are allowed at any events at this time.
Only current Brandeis community members are permitted to attend, speak or perform at an event or facility reservation. In the rare exception, any external talent request must be approved with notice by the Provost’s Office and comply with the University’s health safety guidelines for COVID-19
Spaces will be professionally cleaned and disinfected by Facilities Services before and after each event. Additionally, event hosts and participants will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment during the event
