About the Speaker 

Daniel Sturm talking to Nancy PelosiDaniel Friedrich Sturm, born 1973, is a German political scientist and historian. He works as US-Correspondent for the German newspaper group WELT/ Welt am Sonntag in Washington DC since November 2018. Before he worked as a senior political editor for the domestic desk in Berlin. He reported mainly on the Social Democratic Party of Germany, about which he has written several books.  Dr. Sturm holds two degrees (an MA and a PhD) from the University of Bonn in Germany.
