Supporting professional development for Jewish leaders dedicated to social change
Brandeis University is thrilled to partner with Avodah to provide fully online professional development opportunities for members of the Avodah community who wish to stay in their current positions while pursuing a graduate education.
The cornerstone of the partnership is the university’s Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership master's certificate, an online program that focuses on core skill sets today's Jewish professionals need for rewarding and impactful careers, including strategic planning, nonprofit management, crisis management and communications, human resources, fundraising and development, and more.
As part of this partnership, Brandeis will offer reduced tuition to eligible Avodah staff, and alumni and participants of the following programs: the Jewish Service Corps and the Justice Fellowship.
Founded in 1998, Avodah trains emerging Jewish leaders to take on the most pressing social and economic issues in America. Avodah supports Jewish leaders and communities in their work and lives to further build social and economic justice across the United States.
