Senior Honors Thesis
Students who meet the approval criteria may choose to write a senior thesis.
Students generally need to have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher in linguistics courses to be admitted to the program. Students normally have completed most of the linguistics major before beginning the program.
The undergraduate advising head and proposed advisor must agree that the student has completed enough core linguistics coursework at a consistently high level of performance to be prepared for writing a thesis.
