The work of artist Suzanne Hodes was featured in an exhibition at the Fine Arts Center at Regis College in Weston, Mass. Much of the show focused on her native New York. “I am drawn to the constant movement, energy and syncopated rhythm of city spaces, both in the psychological and physical space of the street, as well as the canyons of buildings and the patterns of people walking. I try to convey the experience of city life, what I see and what I imagine,” she told the Daily News Tribune. A co-founder of Artists West in Waltham, Suzanne has been an active member of the city’s art scene for years. She has lived in Waltham for 45 years with her husband, Henry Linschitz, a professor emeritus at Brandeis.
