Robert Nayer, a tenacious scorer and rebounder for the men’s basketball teams of the late 1960s and 1970, was inducted into the Joseph Linsey Brandeis Athletic Hall of Fame during ceremonies on March 31 in the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center. He was the seventh men’s basketball player in school history to reach the 1,000-point plateau and is currently ranked 18th in scoring. He still ranks second in rebounds, just seven shy of 1,000 for his career.
