Kimberlee Schumacher is director of family, interfaith and community programs at Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP), part of the Boston federation’s efforts to involve interfaith couples and families in the Jewish community. “Whatever people’s personal opinion is, the fact is that 50 percent of marriages with Jews (in the United States) are intermarriages,” she told the Jewish Advocate. CJP is spending $450,000 on programs for interfaith couples and families this year, up from $300,000 last year. Frank Trentacoste was named a managing director at Macro Risk Advisors, a provider of equity derivatives strategy and trade execution for institutional investors. He had been a portfolio manager of both the Ridgecrest Fund and Industrial Harvest Fund at Ridgecrest Partners.
