Daniel Medeiros married Gregory Williams on July 27, 2011, the 20th anniversary of their first date. Daniel is the director of the Child and Family Institute at St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals and chief of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. Horizon Lines, the nation’s leading domestic ocean shipping company, named David Weinstein to its board of directors. He has served as a business consultant specializing in corporate restructurings since September 2008. David has worked for Calyon Securities, BNP Paribas and Lehman Brothers. William Carpenter, a star Brandeis baseball player in the late 1970s and early 1980s, will be inducted into the Joseph Linsey Brandeis Athletic Hall of Fame during ceremonies on March 31 in the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center. William was among the Judges’ career leaders in six different statistical categories. The shortstop was the Greater Boston League MVP as a senior, when he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox. Michael Goldman recently completed the manuscript for an upcoming book, “Master Filmmaker at Work: Clint Eastwood.” Slated for publication in the fall, the book takes a look at the legendary director’s filmmaking techniques. Featuring introductory essays from Steven Spielberg and Morgan Freeman, the book observes Eastwood as he worked with his crew and colleagues on his last two films, “Hereafter” and “J.
