Michael Nathanson, P’16, was named chair of the board of directors of the National Brain Tumor Society, the largest U.S. nonprofit dedicated to the brain tumor community. Michael has been active with the National Brain Tumor Society for several years and most recently served as vice chair. He is CEO, president and chair of the Colony Group, a leading wealth management company with nearly $3 billion in assets under management. Amy Nelson was named director of early childhood education at the Bergen County Y Jewish Community Center in New Jersey. Previously, she was nursery school director at Temple Beth El in Closter. Eve Miller Lefkowitz has expanded her manufacturing and wholesale distribution company into the retail sector. The new subsidiary — Let’s Go Invite! (letsgoinvite.com) — provides custom invitations and screen-printed apparel to retail customers. Eve offers special discounts to Brandeis alumni. The Ruderman Family Foundation, led by Jay Ruderman, has launched a pioneering American Jewish Studies Program at the University of Haifa to address gaps in the knowledge held by the next generation of Israeli leaders.
