Lisa Goldberg, MA’83, PhD’84, joined the Aperio Group, an investment management firm, as director of research. She continues to serve on the faculty at the University of California, Berkeley, where she is director of research at the Center for Risk Management Research. Don Ervin, MFA’88, has sung “The Star-Spangled Banner” solo at sports venues around the country. His first opportunity to perform came in 2004 at a Boston Celtics game. Since then, he has also sung at Major League Baseball games — for the Baltimore Orioles, the Cincinnati Reds, the Cleveland Indians, the San Diego Padres, the Seattle Mariners and the Texas Rangers — and for the National Basketball Association’s Golden State Warriors. “Doing this is my tiny, tiny, tiny service to the country,” he told The Columbus (Ohio) Dispatch.
