Jaime Carrillo has two children, newborn daughter Feliciana and 3-year-old son Max. Jaime performed in the Central Square Theatre’s production of “The Other Place.” Tanya (Tamarkin) Greenblatt was named cantor of Temple Israel of New Rochelle, N.Y., in July 2013. Abigail Myers and her husband, Joseph Weiner, welcomed son Emmett in December 2012. Abby is the senior graphic designer at Hunt Alternatives Fund, a family foundation based in Cambridge, Mass. Shachar Gilad founded SoundBetter (soundbetter.com), a freelancer marketplace for the music production industry that allows musicians worldwide to find and hire music producers, studios, audio engineers and other musicians. Shachar now lives in Tel Aviv after years in New York. He has worked at Apple and Waves Audio, lectured at universities, and toured Europe with his band. Warner Macklin III enjoyed serving as co-chair of the Class of ’98’s 15th Reunion with Alex Heckler and the other members of the committee. Warner lives in both his native Pittsburgh and the Washington, D.C., area, where he advises clients on crisis management communications, reputational risk, internal and federal investigations, and other strategic matters. Perry Bridger lives in Irvine, Calif., with his wife, Becky, and three wonderful daughters. Joshua Cohen has worked as an independent producer in Las Vegas for several years. He is also co-chair of the Nevada Film Incentive Task Force, a grass-roots organization of about 1,200 people, including Heather “Scottie” Scott, MFA’03. Joshua writes, “After years of campaigning, we successfully enacted the Motion Picture Jobs Creation Act. The governor signed it into law in June 2013, and it went into effect on Jan. 1. We’re looking forward to the incentive enabling more productions to be shot here, and eventually doubling or tripling the size of the local industry.” He also recently co-produced “Counterpunch” with Danny Trejo and Steven Bauer. On Aug. 1, 2013, Miriam Manglani, husband Rajiv and daughter Atara welcomed twin baby boys — Asher Matanel and Avner Yosef. She reports that babies and family are doing well. Stephanie Mitchell, IBS MA’05, is excited to celebrate the one-year anniversary of her company, Tranquil Waters Designs (tranquilwatersdesigns.com), in North Reading, Mass. The company’s tagline is “Feng shui for the here and now.” Abrah Salk Zion (aka “Miss Z”) and her husband, Mark, welcomed their second daughter, Naomi Bess, on April 19, 2013. Big sister Talia Rose is 4.
