Loretta Attardo is a practicing labor and employment arbitrator and mediator. She and her husband, Ralph Rotman, live in Boston and Marblehead, and have three daughters who also live in Boston. Loretta is hoping more trips through the Brandeis Travelers program are on the horizon. Ed David lives in Jacksonville, Florida, for at least six months a year, and in Rockport, Maine, for the balance of the year. He retired two years ago from his post as assistant superintendent for business in a New York public-school district. He and his wife, a former high-school principal, enjoy cooking, bridge, baking, reading, following political events, biking, tennis, travel and their family (they have four grandsons). Ed also audits courses at the University of North Florida, most recently on comparative religion. In February, Tobi Konikow Hoffman and Curtiss Hoffman ’68 welcomed their first grandchild, Violet Olive, daughter of Adam and Mariya Hoffman, who live in San Jose, California. Nancy Lazarus, who has lived in Davis, California, for 20 years, retired from the Northern California VA Health-Care System five years ago. She works with a variety of nonprofit organizations, is a member of her synagogue’s adult-ed committee, and enjoys spending time with her five grandchildren in Davis and Oakland. David Sarna, P’05, suffered a serious stroke that left him paralyzed on the right side. After extensive rehab, he is making a slow recovery at home.
