Linda Burke continues to tutor local students. She enjoyed visiting her daughter in California recently, exploring different neighborhoods in San Francisco and the East Bay, and is looking forward to seeing Lake Tahoe and Mount Shasta on her next visit. Mark Fowler, P’11, and his wife, Jessica Kaplan, report they are launching a “fiercely” independent new bookstore, Bronx River Books, in Scarsdale, New York. It will likely open around Labor Day. Richard Kopley recently wrote his second children’s picture book, “Kenny and the Blue Sky,” released by Eifrig Publishing. Steve Litwack and Sherry Forman Litwack ’73, P’03, welcomed their first grandchild, Elyse Stella, on Aug. 23. She is the daughter of Caroline Litwack Jalfin ’03 and her husband, Asaf.
