Dana Edelson is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Chicago. She has produced an analytics tool called eCART (electronic cardiac arrest risk triage), which uses intellectual property licensed from UChicago Medicine to extract more than 30 variables from health records of hospitalized patients in real time and calculate the probability of a patient experiencing an adverse event, such as cardiac arrest, over the next eight hours. To commercialize eCART, Dana and her husband, Jay ’94, a class-action attorney, have launched a startup called Quant HC, which has five full-time employees. Dana is its CEO. Sue Doucet Mynttinen, MBA’12, was named deputy director of the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum, on Nantucket, Massachusetts. Sue moved to the island in 2013 after marrying her husband, John.
