Roger Barkin and his wife, Suky, are enjoying their retirement from their medical careers by spending time with grandchildren and going on outdoor adventures in Colorado. They hope to travel to Asia and Africa next year. Victoria Hilkevitch writes that she has resumed violin lessons after more than 50 years. She and several other musicians formed a group, Eine Kleine Porchmusik, to play music for neighbors outdoors during the lockdown. Vancouver resident Michael Moscovich, P’99, who retired after 45 years of lawyering, spends four months in Rancho Mirage, California, each year. “Still attached to many classmates after 55 years,” he writes. “I think we realize how lucky we are and how lucky we were at Brandeis.” Rosalie (Ripaldi) Shane is painting and showing her work, and manages Saxonville Studios, in Framingham, Massachusetts. She serves on boards for Brandeis’ Women’s Studies Research Center (where she is co-chair) and the Martha’s Vineyard Art Association, and is a trustee of the Vineyard Trust. Carla Singer is an executive producer on the film “Four Winters: A Story of Jewish Partisan Resistance and Bravery in WWII,” which premiered at Lincoln Center in January 2020.
