An article by Stephen Bertman, MA’60, “From the Slaves of Pharaoh to the Servants of God,” appears in a recent issue of the CCAR Journal: The Reform Jewish Quarterly. His essay “The Man Who Made His Own Eve” appeared last fall in Women in Judaism: A Multidisciplinary e-Journal. Nina (Hathaway) Rubinstein Alonso, MA’63, PhD’70, is the editor of Constellations: A Journal of Poetry and Fiction. Nina’s ballet school, Fresh Pond Ballet, is offering instruction virtually. Helene Hill, PhD’64, is the author of a book about scientific fraud, “Hidden Data: The Blind Eye of Science,” published in 2016. (Mona) Jerusha Hull McCormack, MA’66, PhD’73, got married at age 77 this year, on the day between Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day. She reports, “My new husband (who is 86) is someone I have worked with professionally for the past 16 years, teaching first in China (about the West) and now in the West (about China). We have written two books together: ‘Comparing Civilizations: China and the West’ and ‘Thinking Through China.’”
