David Adlerstein was named editor of The Star, a newspaper serving Florida’s Gulf County. He also oversees the Apalachicola Times. Jeff Burman worked in post-production at NBC­Universal for 28 years, retired in 2017 and is now looking for new job opportunities. Roslynn Mauskopf, formerly chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, has become the first woman to lead the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, which provides a broad range of services to the federal courts. Robert Shochet and Jodi Ferretti-Shochet, both P’08, have moved to Rockland County, New York. Rob is senior director for patient experience at Montefiore Medical Center. Jodi is a retired school social worker. The move brings Rob and Jodi closer to their daughter and son-in-law, two grandchildren, and several dear Class of ’79 friends. Their sixth grandchild was born last fall to their son and daughter-in-law, who live in Israel.
