Elizabeth Arnold, a clinical psychologist, studies the use of indigenous plant medicines in Peru to heal trauma. Malca Bassan is the author and illustrator of “20 Letters of Purim,” published earlier this year, which tells the story of how Purim heroes Esther and Mordechai saved the Jewish people in Persia. Richard Rostoff, who lives in Swampscott, Massachusetts, is vice president of acquisitions and leasing for Linear Retail Properties, which owns 89 retail properties throughout New England.
