Elliot Maggin is celebrating the arrival of his second grandson, Caleb, born on March 11 to son Jeremy and daughter-in-law Stephanie. Jeremy is director of disaster planning for Kaiser Permanente’s Southern California medical centers. Elliot’s daughter, Sarah, a fifth grade teacher, was married in August. Brian Shell reports he and wife Barb spent last winter at their home in Toronto and their favorite ski-resort hideaway in Kicking Horse, British Columbia. Younger son Adam is now married to Taina. Elder son Jeremiah lives in a group home that supports his special needs. And daughter Laura’s second son, Quinn, was born in September 2020, joining his brother at home after a three-month sojourn in a Toronto NICU. Helen (Cummins) Strahinich has launched a website for Read/Learn Press, her book-publishing venture.
