Public Safety

Community Training & Education

The Brandeis University Department of Public Safety is dedicated to working with the community to improve the safety and preparedness of all. Knowing what to do in the event of an emergency is paramount to meeting this goal and how best to be prepared and mitigate consequences on a personal level ensures that you are enhancing the overall resiliency of your community. One of the department's priorities is ensuring the highest level of services to foster a safe learning and working environment, but your involvement is necessary to achieve this goal.

We are pleased to offer several training courses to help you learn the best practices during several types of emergencies, how to prepare at home and at work, and how to use certain skills in the community to assist others. Please review the available training we offer from the Law Enforcement Division and Emergency Management Division and contact us to schedule a session for you and your group.

Sincerely,
Matthew T. Rushton
