What are the start and end dates for the JBS programs?

Ten week Summer JBS program:

            Starts May 29, 2012

            Ends August 3, 2012

JBS programs that run during the academic year, follow the academic calendar.

What is the schedule for a JBS program?

The schedule varies per JBS program, but as JBS is an intensive and immersive experience, students should expect to be engaged in programming four to five days a week for most of the day.

Can I leave a summer JBS program for a week due to a family issue?

The JBS program is a rigorous academic experience that requires students' full participation for the entire duration of the specific program. However, the Program recognizes that extenuating circumstances may arise that can not be avoided and such instances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
