Program Overview

Engage in the theory and practice of developing web and mobile applications in this "start-up" style computer science program. Team up in small groups to produce high-quality software products.

Each week students and faculty will partake in a combination of field trips to local companies, lectures, discussions, student presentations, lunch meetings, guest lectures and computer lab work.

In the first week of the summer, students will collaborate with the instructors to sketch out their goals and plan for the incubator project, in which students will work in small groups to design, develop, deploy and analyze a sophisticated suite of web and mobile applications.

Students can propose a project on any suite of web and mobile applications that work together for a common purpose. The possibilities are endless and students have the real chance to create something innovative.

At the end of the summer, the students will demonstrate their applications in a public presentation open to the Brandeis community.
