Hanna Wellish '12, a student in the JBS Environmental Health and Justice Program, creates a short video about the students' work with Worcester Roots.
JBS is an intensive and immersive experience and students should expect to be engaged in learning four to five days a week for most of the day.
9:30-noon BISC 4b: Lecture and class discussion
Guest lectures every two weeks
9:30-noon and 1-2 p.m. BISC 10a: Lecture, class discussion, students form sub-groups to work on projects, sub-group students give presentations in class (later on in the course)
2-6PM BISC 10a: Food lab
10-5PM HSSP 120j: Full day field trip/site visit
9:30-noon BISC 4B: Lecture and class discussion
1-3PM HSSP 120j: Class discussion and reflections on the field trip/site visit that took place on the day before
