Undergraduate Theatre Collective (UTC) Presents...

Hookman by Lauren Yee

at the Merrick Theater, Spingold Theater Center
Saturday, October 27 & Sunday, October 28

Saturday, October 27, 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, October 28, 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.

Freshman year at college is hard when your roommate is weird, you’re feeling homesick, and a hook-handed serial killer is slashing girls’ throats. But if Lexi can discover what really happened to her high school best friend on that car ride to the movies, everything will be okay. In this existential slasher comedy, Lexi and her friends learn what it means to grow up – and it’s not pretty. Directed by Karina Wen '20, stage managed by Kayleigh Bettencourt '20, and produced by Gabe Walker '19.

Called “the funniest farce ever written,” Noises Off presents a manic menagerie of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called Nothing’s On. Doors slamming, on and offstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play. Come see the UTC's production of this show and prepare to laugh at all of the backstage intrigue not normally seen!
