Teaching Awards Nominations
This form may be used to nominate a faculty member in the School of Arts and Sciences for one of the following awards:
- Louis Dembitz Brandeis Prize for Excellence in Teaching ($2,500 award for tenured or contract faculty)
- Jeanette Lerman-Neubauer ’69 and Joseph Neubauer Prize for Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring ($5,000 award for tenured, full-time faculty)
- Michael L. Walzer ’56 Award for Teaching ($2,500 award for tenure-track faculty)
Nominations for these award can only be made via this form. If you wish to nominate more than one faculty member, please submit one nomination form for each nominee. Comments on course evaluation forms are not considered to be nominations, although course evaluation comments are carefully read by the selection committee. Nominations are due in March 1, 2023.
Prior recipients of an award are not eligible to receive the same award twice.
